October 2009 marks Christopher Millar’s prodigal return to the kitchen as the Group Executive Chef of 1-Rochester Group. He revels in the challenge of managing the menu for the varied lifestyle dining concepts under his purview, One Rochester, 1-TwentySix and 1-Caramel.
This comes after a two year hiatus. Christopher’s return to the stoves marks the beginning of a change in the Group’s restaurant dining concepts. Christopher has demonstrated he has the culinary skills and imagination to create unique dining experiences that are always well-received amongst the gastronomes of Singapore. With over 15 years of vast culinary experience under his belt, Christopher has worked in established dining cities of Melbourne, Sydney, London and Singapore.
When asked about ROAST at One Rochester, he quipped, “With ROAST I return to my cooking roots, uncovering rustic and authentic recipes and adding a modern twist. This is genuine, real flavours, no fussing about”.
